All awards are important to us, but our win this month at the PRCA 2009 Awards for Optegra in the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical category is especially significant. It was a very successful campaign and we are delighted to receive this recognition in what is a highly competitive and specialist sector.
2009 shows no sign of slowing down, we've added another four new awards to our shelf.
Voted Best PR Agency in Travel Retail, Kavanagh Communications starts the year with nine industry awards for excellence under its belt. Impressively, eight were awarded for one campaign alone. Aldi’s Siana Anti-Wrinkle Cream enjoyed a 1500% sales uplift in a week and more pots are being sold than bananas in all UK stores. Vanity wins over vitamins, it seems. We created that buzz and in recognition, we won three awards at the CIPR Pride Awards in November, followed by the PRCA’s Best Media Relations Campaign a couple of weeks later. Three European Excellence awards, which included Best European Campaign, concluded the year with a cheer in December.
